A Developmental Home is a family home in which a licensed a care giver provides full-time care and supervision to up to three individuals with developmental disabilities. Child Developmental Homes serve individuals under the age of 18. Adult Developmental Homes serve indi-viduals age 18 and over.
General Qualifications:
You may be eligible for licensure if you:
 Are at least 21 years of age;
 Obtain a fingerprint clearance card
 Pass the protective service registry checks
 Are lawfully present in the U.S. and reside in Arizona;
 Are free of medical, physical, or mental health problems that could interfere with the provision of safe care for a child or vulnerable adult;
 Are able to provide a caring, nurtur-ing, and positive home environment;
 Can provide a child or adult with a clean bed and sufficient bedroom space
 Have sufficient income to meet the needs of your family
 Are able to meet and maintain the life-safety requirements for the home or apartment.

Attendant care is a combination of services which may include homemaking, personal care, general supervision and companionship. This service may enable members who might otherwise be in a nursing facility or home and community based alternative residential setting to remain at, or return to, their own home. 

Habilitation is designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving the self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community based settings. The service includes the provision of training in independent living skills or special developmental skills, orientation and mobility training, sensory-motor development, behavioral management and supported employment. Attendant Care

Respite is an interval of rest and/or relief to a family member or other persons car-ing for an Arizona Long Term Care System member, which is also aimed at improv-ing the emotional and mental well-being of the member (AMPM, 1250-D, Respite Care).
