We are currently licensing Developmental Home Providers, and hiring hourly staff to provide Habilitation, Respite, Attendant Care and Day Program services.
All providers must have or be able to obtain the following:
Be 18 years of age (25 years of age for drivers)
Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card
Article 9 training (Can be provided by agency)
CPR/First Aid (Can be provided by agency
Complete Agency Training
Complete Direct Care Worker level 1 & 2 training
Pass a background check
Provide a 3 year driving record (If transporting members)
General Qualifications for Developmental Home Applicants:
You may be eligible for licensure if you:
Are at least 21 years of age;
Obtain a fingerprint clearance card
Pass the protective service registry checks
Are lawfully present in the U.S. and reside in Arizona;
Are free of medical, physical, or mental health problems that could interfere with the
provision of safe care for a child or vulnerable adult;
Are able to provide a caring, nurturing, and positive home environment;
Can provide a child or adult with a clean bed and sufficient bedroom space
Have sufficient income to meet the needs of your family
Are able to meet and maintain the life-safety requirements for the home or apartment.
